Reproduction of a stunning architectural sculpture.

From

Randall's Urban Sculptures Collection.

ABOVE- Photo of my new panel during it's work in progress.

This is NOT available in concrete.

Measurements: approx 17-1/2" high, 27 wide

History of the sculpture

The original 42" wide terra cotta spandrel panel came from a Harlem tenement and was donated to the Brooklyn Museum's salvaged sculpture garden by Ivan Karp, a photo of the original is located here;

Using photos of the original very kindly provided along with measurements by someone from the museum, I scaled the measurements, reduced it and used it as a visual reference to recreate the design in a new reduced size model. The original panel was 42" wide, I decided to make my recreated panel 27" wide which is more practical for my clients as well as lighter and easier to ship.

Misc info

1. All of these sculptures have a wire embedded on the back to hang them on the wall.
2. As I own the original and the mold, I can produce any quantity of these.
3. Custom casting, YES, if you need a keystone or other piece I have to be installed in a brick wall or have some special configuration, just ASK!

You may also pay via check or money order.

Questions-Comments

On these larger panels I am revamping the shipping on these because cardboard boxes shipped to me flat in bundles big enough for safe shipping will run almost as much as the materials to build plywood CRATES, so I am changing the shipping on these larger pieces.

The panel prices are on the individual pages, the shipping includes $20 for the materials and my time to build the crate from 1/2 sheet of 1/2" thick plywood, and $30 to ship anywhere in the lower 48 states. That includes the surcharge the carriers all charge for pickup $3, residential deliver $2, and shipments not in a cardboard container carries a $6 surcharge for handling.

The total shipping cost then is flat rated to $50 to keep things simple.

The panel is $135.00 + $50 shipping, $185.00 TOTAL.

At this time the panel is NOT available due to a problem with the particular brand of molding compound used to mold this, I don't have immediate plans to replace the bad mold at this time, however, a minimum order of 3 panels would see the mold replaced for that order.
